Students can either apply by visiting the college and filling in the relevant application forms which is available at the college or visit our college website.For students choosing to apply through an Agent they can also avail this facility and can apply for the desired courses. These courses can be packaged to offer an academic pathway if they are looking for a future in their education
After completing the application process, we then require you to submit all documents which are clearly mentioned in the application form. The next step will be to generate an offer letter which should be signed and accepted by the student. After signing the offer letter and initial fees are paid the CoE will be generated

Acumens’ policy states that we can only refund the tuition fees. This will also be subject to those fees that is unused.
The fees for Enrollment & First installment of tuition fees.
The student will have to request for an extension through a request form and would normally be granted an extension if the case is genuine. However, if the student fails to notify the college then a breach letter notice will be sent to the student for not paying his fees on time and not informing the college regarding his late payment
Student will be charged a $200 fee for each unit and they have to go through an application process prior to gaining approval.

The college staff, trainers and assessors adhere to the principles and practices of providing student with equal rights and are treated with fairness in the provision of education and training services.
Our student services provide range of services which ensures all students coming for the first time have a detailed understanding of the college and about the life in Australia. A detailed orientation program is also conducted which provides them with detailed information and support both in personal life and with their studies.
Acumen Education maintains records of attendance. Even though we do not follow the attendance based policy we insist that the students come regularly and that their attendance is linked to their academic performance
Students who are not coming regularly are reported by the Trainers. This information is then passed on to their course Student Support Officer (SSO). They in turn contact their student and conduct a counselling session with them and advise them regarding their irregularities.
Every student is given a time table outlining the units he has to complete in a given time frame. This continued progress is closely monitored until the student completes all units within that time frame.
Acumen Education tracks a student’s academic progress via “TEAMS” which is their student management database. This clearly highlights the progress of the student and is closely monitored through a clearly designed process and policy.
It completely depends on the course; a unit may contain written and practical tasks, case study, projects, presentations, tests, and exams.
Yes you need to obtain a pass grade or “C” which means competent in every assessment to pass the unit. No exemptions are allowed.
You will then have one more opportunity to correct and/or submit you work before the end of the term at no extra cost if you have been marked “NYC” in any of the assessment tasks.
It is the main stream/course of study. This basically means that the highest program in a package of courses.
a) You have a valid offer letter from another educational institution
b) It may not be in the best interest of the student. In other words you are asked to take a transfer
c) If there are no outstand fees and complaints or appeal against you.
You will not have to pay any fees for issuing you a release letter.
What is means basically if you wish to postpone the commencement of a course of study “prior to the start” of a new academic term it is known as Deferment.
No. Suspending or postponing your studies may occur at any time during an academic term or a study period.
You can apply through student support services by filling in the relevant forms and submitting the relevant documents. The two major circumstances as stated under the provision of The National Code 2007 Standard 13,
a) Compassionate or compelling circumstances (for example, illness where a medical certificate states that the student is unable to attend classes); or
b) Misbehaviour by the student
If your leave of absence, deferral, or suspension of studies is approved for 28 days or longer, DIAC requirement states that you should leave Australia (unless there are exceptional circumstances). As an international student, you must:
- Remain offshore for the duration of your leave (if it is longer than 28 days); and
- Return no more than one month prior to the commencement of your next term/semester
Yes. A leave of absence can be granted to you on compassionate grounds for a maximum duration of two weeks as per Acumen Educations Deferral, Suspension, and Cancellation of Enrolment Policy.
Yes Acumen Management may suspend or cancel a student enrolment on certain grounds including;
- Non-commencement of studies while on-shore and absence for a period of 28 days or longer without prior approval from the college
- Breach of Student Code of Conduct or due to any disciplinary reasons where the student’s offence is clearly established and the appeal process has been exhausted
- Non-payment of tuition fees
- Unsatisfactory course progress
- Student misbehaviour
- Breach of Student Agreement conditions
