Trainer & Assessor – Automotive

Acumen education is a registered training organization that places a lot of emphasis on the quality of education that it delivers to its local and international students.
The qualifications that acumen education delivers span from certificate III to Advanced Diploma levels and these vocational programs are developed in consultation with industry stakeholders and provide blended delivery modes to provide the students with quality education.
We are looking to hire trainers & assessors to deliver courses in Automotive ranging from Certificate III to Diploma levels.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Trainers will be to provide quality training; and this will be achieved by:
- Providing mentoring and coaching to students to prepare them for the workplace
- Providing face to face training and support to our international students
- Conducting competency based assessments in simulated automotive workshops
- Validating and moderating training and assessment tasks & resources for the qualification
- Providing a positive learning environment with support and understanding for students
- Maintaining student attendance & academic records
Essential Criteria Knowledge
To be successful in this role you should be able to meet the following criteria:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent a must
- Hold relevant vocational competencies – Diploma of Automotive Technology (Preferred)
- Recent or ongoing automotive Industry experience
- Meet the requirements of acumen in terms of industry currency and professional development

We are looking for talented trainers to deliver courses in Hospitality ranging from Certificate III to Advanced Diploma levels.
