Is it mandatory to finish all of the assessments in order to pass a particular unit? Will there be any exemptions?
Yes you need to obtain a pass grade or “C” which means competent in every assessment to pass the unit. No exemptions are allowed.

It completely depends on the course; a unit may contain written and practical tasks, case study, projects, presentations, tests, and exams.
Acumen Education tracks a student’s academic progress via “TEAMS” which is their student management database. This clearly highlights the progress of the student and is closely monitored through a clearly designed process and policy.
Every student is given a time table outlining the units he has to complete in a given time frame. This continued progress is closely monitored until the student completes all units within that time frame.
Students who are not coming regularly are reported by the Trainers. This information is then passed on to their course Student Support Officer (SSO). They in turn contact their student and conduct a counselling session with them and advise them regarding their irregularities.
Acumen Education maintains records of attendance. Even though we do not follow the attendance based policy we insist that the students come regularly and that their attendance is linked to their academic performance
The student will have to request for an extension through a request form and would normally be granted an extension if the case is genuine. However, if the student fails to notify the college then a breach letter notice will be sent to the student for not paying his fees on time and not informing the college regarding his late payment
Acumens’ policy states that we can only refund the tuition fees. This will also be subject to those fees that is unused.
